Southern California Rental Housing Association is the voice of the rental housing industry throughout San Diego, Imperial, and southern Riverside Counties. 

Founded on the bedrock of advocacy, our tireless efforts ensure that the concerns of rental housing providers are heard at all levels of government.

Represented by the National Apartment Association at the federal level and CalRHA at the state level, SCRHA advocacy  works to create a thriving rental housing community through advocacy, education, and collaboration.

The Bureau of Labor Statistics has released reports for CPI-U changes from March 2022 to March 2023. 

CPI Percentages for Rent Increases Effective August 1, 2023, or Later:

  • San Diego CPI: 5.3%
    • Max Increase = 10%
  • Riverside CPI: 4.6%
    • Max Increase = 9.6%
  • Imperial County CPI: 4.2%
    • Max Increase = 9.2%
