The City of San Diego Residential Tenant Protections Ordinance (TPO) is in effect. While many components of the ordinance mirror state law, it does provide for additional tenant protections in cases of no-fault just cause termination of tenancy. It also requires mandatory notifications for tenants and certain disclosures.
