SCRHA Secures Vastly Improved San Diego Tenant Protection Ordinance
By now you have likely read our communications regarding the outcome of last week’s hearing on the City of San Diego Tenant Protection Ordinance (TPO). SCRHA is pleased that the association’s advocacy led to a more balanced ordinance that reflects state law in many areas. SCRHA will continue being involved in the TPO process in an effort to make sure that the accompanying administrative regulations are fair and balanced, and to ensure that the city follows through on promises made at the hearing. Reminder: Anti-Price Gouging Rules in Place for San Diego & Riverside Counties
April storms triggered Emergencies Declarations and anti-price gouging rules. Rent increases in San Diego and Riverside counties will be limited to no more than 10% even for properties exempt from the state rent cap and at turnover. Read more.
