SD City Council President Announces Informational Hearing on Tenant Protections
SCRHA received confirmation that San Diego City Council President Sean Elo-Rivera has scheduled an informational hearing on Tenant Protections for October 31. This item is informational only, however, the Council will vote on a resolution to declare housing a human right. SCRHA will be providing more updates leading up to the hearing. Learn More

Chula Vista Tenant Ordinance Hearing Tentative for October 25
Chula Vista city staff has informed stakeholders that the Tenant Protection Ordinance could be heard on October 25. The city has scheduled, then postponed, the hearing numerous times over the summer and has made it clear that the hearing could be rescheduled yet again, and the most recent draft provided could also change. SCRHA appreciates members staying engaged on this issue and will share more information as soon as it becomes available.
