CalRHA Issues Press Statement on Rent Control Demonstration at the State Capitol

Carlsbad Seeks Input on Climate Action Plan
SCRHA encourages members who live or have properties in Carlsbad to share their thoughts as it relates to the proposed Climate Action Plan. While little details are available at this time, the proposed actions include decarbonization of existing residential buildings and other energy efficiency mandates. Support of "Leave No Veteran Behind", Learn More About County Housing Program
The County of San Diego is spearheading a regional effort to house homeless veterans. "Leave No Veteran Behind" seeks to achieve functional zero for veteran homelessness in the county through partnerships with regional, state, and federal partners. The program includes incentives for rental housing providers, such as a leasing bonus and dedicated landlord liaisons. Members with vacant units or units on notice to vacate are encouraged to sign up for the 211 Interest List.
The County is holding a Landlord Seminar on October 27, from 10 AM - 12 PM at the County Operations Center (5530 Overland Ave., 92123) on the first floor in Room 124.
